Kris Vogel was appointed Springfield City Clerk in June 1999. She is a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Springfield High School. In February, 2002, Kris was certified by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and received her "Certified Municipal Clerk" designation. In December, 2003, Kris was accepted into the Master Municipal Clerk Academy; she received her "Master Municipal Clerk" designation in 2008. Kris is a member of the Calhoun County Municipal Clerks Association, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
