Kris’s Bio:
Kris is a lifelong area resident and a graduate of Springfield High School. In February, 2002, Kris was certified by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks and received her "Certified Municipal Clerk" designation. In December, 2003, Kris was accepted into the Master Municipal Clerk Academy; she received her "Master Municipal Clerk" designation in 2008. Kris is a member of the Calhoun County Municipal Clerks Association, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.

The Springfield City Clerk’s responsibilities include:
· Maintaining the City's official records (ordinances, resolutions, minutes and other related documents).
· Maintaining the City’s voter registration database
· Conducting elections· Business licensing
· Overseeing the operation of the Farmer's Market
· Reporting street light outages

Donna has served as Deputy Clerk and Deputy Assessor since September, 2005. She splits her workday between the Clerk's office and the Assessor's office. Donna is a member of the Calhoun County Municipal Clerks Association, Michigan Association of Municipal Clerks, and the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. She is pursuing her Certified Municipal Clerk designation through the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
