Begg Park and The Farmer’s Market
Begg
Park is home to an 18-hole professionally designed disc golf course.  This event is FREE to the public!  Disc golf is fun and challenging, so come on out to Begg Park and give it a try!  Please note that you must provide your own disc.  Course maps are available on site or by contacting the City of Springfield.  For a link to other information regarding our course click here.

The City of Springfield has also invested in new playground equipment, picnic tables, and a large pavilion at the park.  There’s beautiful green space to enjoy; a true family environment.

Begg Park is also home to the Springfield Farmer’s Market, which is open to the public Wednesdays and Saturdays.  The Farmer’s Market building also houses public restrooms that are open and available to park users daily during the spring and summer seasons.

Our Beautiful Farmer’s Market is located at 503 Military Avenue, adjacent to Begg Park, and just off M-96. There is space available for Crafters, Farmers, etc.  In addition, this facility can be rented for private events such as family reunions, company picnics, wedding receptions, church events, and more.  Contact Kris Vogel at 269-965-2354.
