Make Income Tax Payments
*IMPORTANT- PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING*
For login purposes on the payment site, if your most recently filed tax return with Springfield was a joint tax return, please use the information of the person listed as the primary taxpayer on the return that you submitted. The "Last Name" field is case sensitive.
You will need to capitalize the first letter of the last name when entering it (for example, "Smith").
If you are making a payment for past due taxes, payment plans, or court judgements and are unsure as to which tax year your payment needs to be applied to, select the most recent year in the drop-down list. We will review all payments to make sure they are applied to your balance correctly.
Although we attempted to set up as many active taxpayers as we could in our new payment system, you may need to create an account before making your first payment. When you log in the first time, please click the "Update Account" button on the left to ensure that all your personal information is correct and up to date.
If processing a payment using a bank account, these payments only process on business days (Monday-Thursday) and do not come out of your account right away. It is important that you keep the funds available in your account until the transaction processes. ACH transactions that are returned by the bank are subject to a $30.00 fee. Please double check your account and routing numbers before submitting your payment!
